✦ Industries
Bespoke software by sector
We build for B2B businesses where the work is physical, scheduled or regulated - and where the off-the-shelf system was written for someone else's process.
✦ The pattern
The same problem turns up in every sector
A business grows past the point where a spreadsheet and a shared drive can hold it together. Someone buys a package. It covers perhaps half of what happens day to day, so the other half moves into side spreadsheets, email threads and a whiteboard nobody photographs. Two years later nobody trusts the numbers in either place.
What changes between sectors is the vocabulary: works orders in manufacturing, valuations in construction, despatch notes in distribution, job sheets in field service. The underlying job is the same - capture the work once, where it happens, and let everything downstream read from it.
✦ What that means in practice
What we usually build first
Whatever the sector, the first slice tends to be one of these.
- The record that everything else hangs off: the job, the order, the site or the case
- Capture at the point of work, on a phone or tablet, working offline where signal is poor
- The calculation someone currently does by hand in a spreadsheet each week
- A link into the accounts or stock system so nothing gets typed twice
- A live view for whoever has to answer the customer's phone call
- The compliance record you currently reconstruct from folders when an audit lands

Sectors we also work with
The six pages below are the sectors we are asked about most, but the pattern travels. We have also built for logistics and transport, engineering consultancies, facilities management, recruitment, waste and recycling, food production, energy and renewables, education providers, membership bodies and public-sector suppliers.
If your sector is not listed, that is not a problem - it usually means the terminology changes and the workflow does not. Bring the process to a call and we will tell you honestly how close it is to work we have done before.
✦ Questions we get asked
Answered here, not on the call.
Do you need experience in our specific sector?
It helps, but what matters more is that we map your process properly before writing anything. Sector knowledge without that still produces the wrong system.
Our sector is heavily regulated. Can you work with that?
Yes. Audit trails, permissions, retention rules and evidence exports are designed in from the start rather than bolted on later.
Can you integrate with the sector package we already run?
In most cases, yes - through its API, database or file exchange. Where a system is genuinely closed we will say so early.
Do you work outside the UK?
We work with UK and European businesses, and remotely with teams elsewhere where the time zones allow proper working sessions.

Thirty minutes. Bring the process, the systems it touches and the deadline. You'll leave with an approach and an honest answer on whether custom software is the right call.
